# ClipLeve > ClipLeve is an iPhone app (iOS 18 or later) that makes smaller copies, called light versions, of the videos in Photos. Compression runs on the iPhone; videos are never uploaded. It shows the estimated size before processing, lets the user compare over their own video, and keeps the original until the user chooses to replace it. - What it does: lists the biggest videos first, estimates each new size, offers three sizes (Nearly identical keeps the resolution up to 4K, Balanced up to 1080p, Much smaller), and lets the user drag a before/after line over their own video before saving. - Original: never edited or overwritten. The light version is a new video in Photos with the same date, location and favorite, read in full and checked before and after saving. Replacing the original is optional, confirmed by iOS, and the original stays 30 days in Recently Deleted. - Privacy: compression happens on the device. No account, no ads and no tracking in the app. - Free: the download, estimates, comparison and the first light version (saved and checked, no watermark), once per device. - ClipLeve Pro: new light versions, a queue of up to 50 videos, and Send a smaller version sized for messages (up to 64 MB), email (up to 25 MB) or a custom size, optionally just a clip. - Prices on October 30, 2026: Pro Annual $19.99 a year (US App Store; R$ 39,90 in Brazil), about $1.67 a month, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers in every storefront where the app is sold; Lifetime $39.99 once (R$ 79,90 in Brazil). Local prices appear in the App Store before purchase. - Supported videos: H.264 and HEVC in MOV or MP4, up to 30 minutes, 10 GB, 4K and 120 fps, including HDR (HLG, Dolby Vision 8.4), videos edited in Photos and time-lapses. Not supported yet: Cinematic mode, slow motion, spatial videos. - Measured example: a 42.4 MB test video became a 7.5 MB light version on an iPhone on October 15, 2026, original kept. Results vary by video; the app shows an estimate first. - Honest limits: compression can reduce detail, and making a light version does not free space by itself; space returns once the original is replaced and Recently Deleted is emptied. - Available in: Brazil, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Ireland. iPhone only (no iPad, Mac or Android). - Made by Luis Junior, an independent developer in Brazil (https://luisjunior.ai).
